Rodney’s Wife (Playwrights Horizons)

Year: 2004

It’s Rome, 1962, but to a group of visiting Americans it feels more like the far edge of the known world. Rodney, a movie actor, is filming one of the first “Spaghetti Westerns.” With him are his twenty-five year old daughter, his recently widowed sister, his manager, and his wife of ten years, Fay, who finds herself the center of this story of loss, disorientation, emotional confusion and very human desire.

This world premiere production of Rodney’s Wife was originally presented by the Williamstown Theatre Festival in July of 2004.
